Bake Sale
On the 27th and 28th of March, The three teams came together to help fundraise for our exhibition. Almost everyone on the course helped it become a success either by helping sell the cakes on the stall/ walking round, making cakes for the sale or helping count up after.

The 27th was a bit chaotic. It was our first day and we didn't know what we were doing. There was a few problems with the table placing however that was not our fault and it was sorted fairly quickly. After this we got into full swing of things and stormed through the rest of the day. After a long day we sat down to count and once we had replaced the £50 float which is provided by finance, we had made a profit of £48.16. This was incredible and a complete shock to everyone.

The second day was a lot smoother. We knew what to do and wanted the same sort of success as the day before. This day has cakes that sold out within minutes. Due to word of mouth we became pretty popular and it was brilliant to see people come up and buy us out of stock on some of the cakes. This day made £68.84! Communication between staff and students is what really made the difference I think.

The poster

I also created the poster for the fundraiser. It includes all three teams so it has to be a neutral theme which isn't biased to one team. The purple, blue and pink scheme is used through every game so I stuck with this. And the "Hacked" font relates to all games as this fits their theme.

I had to use cake images off google because I didn't have time to make cakes then take photos of them. I added a drop shadow so they jumped off the page and showed the sort of products we were selling.
Overall I like this poster but I wish I would have added more detail and depth.I wish I'd made the font more interesting as its kind of flat and non- exciting. I also would have updated the JapanOffline logo to the transparent one however I didn't even think to add it.
