The 29th was the setup of the exhibition and some of us came in early to help transfer what was required for the exhibition into the van. I took it upon myself to help only because as marketing leader, I felt like I should do my bit to help set up the exhibition I had help organised. After loading up the van, some of us ran into town to meet the van at the other end. We then unloaded everything from the van, placed it in the room and began to set up.

Setting up the stall was quite time-consuming, it took longer than I thought because of all the intricate details we had decided to have. The string LED lights were the hardest part to sort out. They had to be taped to the floor and table at a certain angle because they had broken. The tablecloth was the wrong shape so it had to be cut to shape. The walls had to have all the art pinned up and we had to set up our mac which was surrounded by created marketing products. Luckily I had a brilliant team of people with me that day and it was an enjoyable yet hectic process.

Take down day ( 1st June) was the easiest of them all. I drove up to Colchester in my own car, and picked up a few people a long the way. By the time we had got there most stuff had been taken down, so it was just a case of loading up my car and taking as many people as I could back to the college to help unload the vans/cars. This was such a smooth and problem-free day and it went without a hitch.

Looking back on the taking down/setting up I wouldn't have done anything differently. It all worked out the way it went and we were successful in setting up the exhibition professionally and to a brilliant standard.
