My Day at Escape Studios

On the 16th of September I visited Escape studios with interest of applying for their games course.

Course information here: https://www.pearsoncollegelondon.ac.uk/find-a-course/undergraduate/ba-ma-the-art-of-video-games-integrated-masters.html

The course is a lot more art based which I quite like; I haven't seen a course like it. It has an intergrated masters course with it which again is something I've never seen.

The facilities of the university are very appealing. It looks more like a work space than it does a place of educations. The systems and resources they have are incredible and well suited for the course. Along with this the tutors are well experienced and strive for the success of the students.

Accommodation:

If I were to go to Escape studios I would have to live away from home. The main option is to live in student housing at Tufnell House, North West London. This is the student favorite and is relatively close to the university.

Overall:

I have put this university as my second choice on UCAS. I enjoy how its more of a work environment and doesnt feel like a school. I'm not a fan of traveling and commuting in London but for the course and the benefits it could have on my future are something I'm willing to comprimise for.
